The movement in the Grand Seiko is also waaay more accurate, has a smoother sweep, and a longer power reserve. Plus it was probably handmade by an artist, if that's something you care about. They're both great depending on your interests and budget.

And while quartz easily fulfills that first category, in order for it to serve the second purpose it has to be special - like the 0100 or SpringDrive or sth like this, so you don't save money on it cuz these are generally expensive.
